Background
Ajay accepts briefs in all areas of the law. His main practice areas are commercial law and equity.
Before the Bar, Ajay was a solicitor at Ashurst and Tipstaff to Justice Robb at the Supreme Court of New South Wales.
Ajay holds a Bachelor of Economics, Bachelor of Laws and Master of Laws, all from the University of Sydney. Whilst there, he was a Student Editor of the Sydney Law Review and received several prizes and awards, including the: Ivan Roberts Scholarship, New Colombo Plan Scholarship, Eric Cunstance Shaw Scholarship, Pitt Cobbett Scholarship, Walter Reid Memorial Prize for Law (twice), and Dean’s List of Excellence for Academic Performance in Law.
