Introducing Brief Encounter
Greenway Chambers may be Australia’s only barristers’ chambers with its own in-house rock band.
Greenway Chambers’ barristers love music and since 2018, the floor has had an in-house rock band. Brief Encounter was initially formed, to compete at Lawrocks but has continued to rehearse and perform regularly, including a Christmas gig in chambers just before Covid brought live music to a grinding halt.
The band is looking forward to getting back together on a post pandemic stage soon.The band is always on the lookout for new talent and would especially love to meet a keyboardist keen to join them.
