Greenway Chambers may be Australia’s only barristers’ chambers with its own in-house rock band.
Greenway Chambers’ barristers love music, and since 2018 the floor has had an in-house rock band. Formerly ‘Brief Encounter’, the band was initially formed to compete at LawRocks but has continued to rehearse and perform regularly, including a Christmas gig in chambers just before Covid brought live music to a grinding halt.
Renamed in 2025 as The Smoking Guns, the band is looking forward to getting back on stage.
